About
Welcome to Nourishing Your Sober Self, my blog about caring for your body, mind and spirit while in recovery from alcohol, drugs, caffeine or food addiction. I combine my knowledge and training as a body.mind.spirit Nutritional-Lifestyle Coach and teacher with the experience I gained on my sober journey, offering ways to live life as the whole, complete, spiritual beings we are.
This blog is for anyone who is ready to move into the next phase of wellness in his or her life. It is also for Nutritional-Lifestyle Coaches, or anyone who works with people in recovery from addiction, to offer an understanding of the multi-levels of the disease of addiction and the ongoing healing journey.
One of the promises of recovery programs states, “No matter how far down the scale we have gone, our experience can benefit others.” My intention and hope is to offer you benefit through Nourishing Your Sober Self .
I love your comments…please feel free to post your feelings, thoughts, and questions.

I am very excited to see that you have a blog venue where I can go for updates on the information I get through my sessions with you. You have been so helpful to me-it speaks volumes about your generosity of spirit that you are willing to share so freely with others.
Thank-you!

Deborah,
I am a fellow IIN graduate. I was reading your blog and love the idea of helping people overcome addictions and achieve wellness. Would you be interested in being a guest blogger on my health and wellness blog, http://www.GalantysGamePlan.com? I can give a link back to your blog and a plug for your business. Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks,
Carol

Thank you Carol. Yes, I’m interested and since I’m new to the blogging game, you’ll have to explain to me what it means to be a ‘guest blogger’.
Warmly,
Deborah

Dear Deborah,
Your work is relevant and inspired, and you have a gift for communicating in a cogent, heartfelt way. Thank you for sharing your experiences and knowledge about the mind/body connection.
Let the spirit move us to live in the day and trust that all is well despite any appearances to the contrary!

You made a few good points there. I did a search on the topic and barely found any specific details on other sites, but then happy to be here, really, appreciate that.
